Finding Compassion in Pain
We experience compassion, calm and peace when we are feeling happy and content.
Compassion, calm and peace can truly shine when you can find a place in your heart to forgive and open your heart to those who hurt you or give you pain.
That is the real test.
When you want to push them away, that’s when you need to draw them closer to you.
You may notice all the emotions, feelings and thoughts are blending into the CORE of yourself. It’s like dark clouds shrouding the sunlight in you, leaving you with very little clarity on what actions to take.
Allow yourself to look deep into yourself and your pain.
See if you can get curious about what is really causing that pain that’s stirring inside you.
What is it that you truly desire?
Can you acknowledge and understand your wants?
Are you able to give that wants to yourself?
Or are you hoping other people can give them to you?
Are you able to see what these people might be suffering to cause you that pain?
What is the lesson they are teaching you?
Are you able to see some light in the darkness?
What good might you able to find in a seemingly destructive event?
Is there a place in your heart where you can give them blessings despite the pain they cause you?
THAT is our lesson. That applies to people whom you think have wronged you and any situations you are in.
If you are able to experience some of these, you might be able to experience what compassion, calm and peace really is. ❤️
